Hey guys sorry I didn't post, but I've been on vacation in Florida. So I'm gonna probably be posting in the next week, I don't have time now, but I didn't want you guys to think I deserted the blog. (Not that that has happened............................. awkward...)
Anyway so this week I'm getting side bangs! I'm super excited! I'll tell you guys all about them, and that will probably be the hairstyle of the week next week. But I got to go now! Hope everyone had a great Christmas!! (Please feel free to comment on this post with suggestions, questions, etc. I've been checking the comments a lot lately (except in the past week - Florida) so I'll reply either in a comment or in my blog. Bye now!!

December - cozy yet chic
Hey!! It is finally December!! I've got some verry cute trends I've been spotting to share with you! Also, next week I will be doing a gift guide post so be sure to check that.
Outfit of the Week: LOVE a cardigan with a cute tank top (preferably in a deeper shade) and skinnies. This looks cute with pretty much any type of boot - just as long as it's not a snowboot or rainboots or something. I personally think Uggs look cute with this, as Uggs are the shoe for winter again this year.
Hair of the Week: Soft curls. To get this you can either curl your hair (if you have straight or wavy hair) or use a curl enhancer (for curly or wavy hair). I use Garnier Fructis Curl Shaping Gel, To get good curls you can spray your hair while it's damp and twist small sections of hair into ringlets. Then let air dry. For naturally curly hair just spray and scrunch up your hair.
Accessory of the Week: Necklaces.I have one that is silver and has a rhinestone B (for Bella) and it looks so cute with V-neck tees and lower cut shirts.
Make up product: Eyeshadow. Dabbing a bit of white eyeshadow along your lashline will make you look super cute and wintry. I love Maybelline, Mac, and Sephora for eyeshadow (my three favorite make up brands)
Product of the Post: http://www.abercrombie.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10051&catalogId=10901&productId=705122&langId=-1&categoryId=12282&parentCategoryId=12203&colorSequence=07 This grey sweater is perfect to wear with solid tees or tank tops. One of my friends has this sweater, and it looks soo cute every time she wears it (I've worn it too; we like to trade clothes to add variety to our wardrobes). It looks great with jeggings (jeggings are still cute.... in dark wash and as long as they have pockets. You'll hear more about this on the What Not to Wear section), Uggs, and a tank top.
Shoe of the Post: http://www.uggaustralia.com/ProductDetails.aspx?gID=w&productID=5803&model=Bailey%20Button
These boots are adorable with jeans and jeggings and go great with this weeks outfit. (I'm sorry to make it all Uggs but next week won't be Ugg boots. Promise)
What Not to Wear: Jeggings without pockets. It's fine if they just have pretend pockets in the front (a lot of jeggings do) but they MUST have pockets in the back otherwise it looks wierd and ugly and also makes your butt look kinda fat no matter how skinny you are.
For the person who replied to my question of where do you shop I found some very cute things at Abercrombie for you. Also, you said you didn't usually get anything there - I know it's really expensive and in this economy let's face it, it may be hard to afford an all Abercrombie wardrobe. I suggest Platos closet. They have all brand names for really cheap. I know several people who shop there.
Here's some adorable Abercrombie things I found while browsing online:
http://www.abercrombie.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10051&catalogId=10901&productId=717178&langId=-1&categoryId=12282
This is a very cute V-neck sweater that I would wear with a tank top and skinny jeans and a necklace. Abercrombie has super cute sweaters and is my favorite place to get sweaters.
http://www.abercrombie.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10051&catalogId=10901&productId=728965&langId=-1&categoryId=12270
This is a cute tank top that would go great with the product of the post. Abercrombie is known for having the cutest tank tops around that are good quality too.
http://www.abercrombie.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10051&catalogId=10901&productId=669845&langId=-1&categoryId=50454
These jeans are very adorable. Abercrombie is also known for their great jeans (jeans, sweaters, and tank tops are the things it's known for)
There you go! If you want some more suggestions then just leave a comment and I will be happy to help you.

Girly and chic
Hey there! Unfortunately I haven't received any comments to the question of where do you shop? So I will not be able to have a question part of this post. However, feel free to type your answer right now because I can find you super cute outfits! So let's start off with the outfit of the week.
Outfit of the Week: A high waisted skirt with a solid tank top or V neck with leggings and short Uggs. This is a preppy and girly outfit that's totally chic.
Hairstyle of the Week: Put it back with a girly headband. Try the ones with cute little bows or patterns. This looks good with wavy, curly, or straight hair. Straight hair looks the most put together while curly and wavy hair looks girly and cute.
Accessory of the Week: Headbands. They have really cute ones at Forever 21 and Forever, Forever 21's accessory store. The ones with bows or patterns look the cutest.
Make-up product: Blush. Get perfectly flushed cheeks with Maybelline Blush. They also have great blush at MAC. They have tons of colors and you'll be able to find one that looks good with your skin tone and it stays on all day!
Product of the Week: http://www.abercrombie.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10051&catalogId=10901&productId=675081&langId=-1&categoryId=13058
This skirt from Abercrombie is chic and girly and looks great with leggings and Uggs but it's still casual. Perfect for the outfit of the week.
Shoe of the Week: Short Uggs. They look great with leggings, jeans, even sweatpants. I have the chestnut ones and I love them.
What not to wear: Knee high converse. They kind of remind me of those knee high socks and honestly? No sneaker should be more than two inches above the ankle. It just looks bad.
For my thanksgiving outfit: I'm wearing jeans (dark wash, of course) with an adorable floral print tank top (however, the floral print is larger and it has a fading color look that is in so it's not too springy) and a dark blue cardigan. I'm also wearing my knit grey cardy Uggs. Hope you all have a happy thanksgiving!
Everyone, please please please answer the question: where do you shop? If by the next post I still have no answers I'll do a different question, but it would be greatly appreciated if you answer. Also, if someone needs individual help on selecting an outfit for an occasion, I will gladly help you.
Happy Thanksgiving!!

Weekly Posts Again!
Hey! So I'm going to post more like once or maybe even twice a week I'm sorry I didn't post for so long!! I've got some great new trends to post in the next few posts and I'm adding some new sections.
Outfit of the Week: Dark wash skinny jeans (a classic) with a tank top (they've got some on sale at Pink and they have them in lots of colors!) and a hoodie (they have cute hoodies at Hollister.) This is a very casual outfit so if you're a little more preppy then this might be more of weekend wear to you. For others this is a great outfit to wear to school
Hairstyle of the Week: Glossy, shiny, and frizz-free. Here are some tips on how:
~ Use Garnier Fructis Glossing Spray. It makes my hair shiny and completely frizz free
~ Leave-in Conditioner. It adds extra nutrients to your hair which boosts up the shine. I like John Frieda Collection Frizz Ease Leave in Conditioner Spray
~ Hello Hydration Shampoo and Conditioner also gives hair the nutrients it needs to be beautiful. It's what I use and it really works
~ If you rinse with cold water it seals shine inside the hair cuticle so always rinse shampoo and conditioner out with cold
~ If you skip a day before washing your hair again it lets the natural oils in your hair add shine (I don't mean skip a shower. You should take a shower (obviously) just don't wash your hair everyday. Also, if you have very thin hair that gets greasy easily then you might not want to do this but if you have thick or medium thick hair you should)
Accessory of the Week: Layered bracelets or thin bangles. These look cute and add some pop to a plain outfit and they also make a little jingling sound every time you move your wrist. Adorable!
Makeup of the Week: This is one of the new sections. Each week I'll post a makeup product that I love and what makes it so great. Revlon eyeliner pencil - it comes on really easily, it's waterproof, and never smudges. Tip: Putting eyeliner on both your bottom and top lid makes your eyes look bigger and rounder.
Item of the Week:(In this section I'll include one article of clothing per week and say why it's so great.) http://www.hollisterco.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10251&catalogId=10201&productId=712662&langId=-1&categoryId=12631&parentCategoryId=12552&colorSequence=02
This pullover hoodie from Hollister is great because it's warm but not bulky, comfy, can be worn with jeans and a tank top (classic) and it comes in 15 different colors.
Shoe of the Week: (This is kind of a given but I'll post a different shoe each week and say why it's so great and list a couple ways to wear it. Usually it will also be in the outfit of the week too. This weeks shoe is: Ugg knit cardy.http://www.uggaustralia.com/ProductDetails.aspx?gID=w&productID=5819&model=Classic%20Cardy Note: In the picture on the website they are all the way up but I would reccomend to always roll them down because it looks a lot better. I just got them in grey and I totally love them! They are super cute and can be casual, girly, trendy, or whatever your style is. They look great with skinny jeans, leggings, skirts, or even dresses but personally I like them best with skinny jeans. They also work well with different colors of skinny jeans (like pastels) except grey of course.
What not to wear: Jumpsuits. They make you look lanky and kind of remind me of those guys on stilts. They are - in a word - unflattering.
This week I am asking the question where do you shop? Please name a couple stores and I'll find an item or maybe even an outfit from those stores.
Be sure to comment! I'd love to here from you!
xoxo

November
Omigosh so hard to believe it's already November! (Sorry I kind of abandoned this blog a while ago but today I was bored so I decided to check up on it. I'll start it up again now)
First off, thanks for all your comments. Much appreciated
Outfit of the Month: Try dark wash jeans (a fall classic. You can get these almost anywhere) with suede boots (these were a trend last year and are back again) and a solid henley with a cute tank top underneath
Try a solid V-neck (those never seem to go out of style) or a tank top and pair it with a high waisted girly skirt. Wear with leggings and short Uggs. This is fairly preppy (where I live at least) and super duper cute
Instead of doing a hairstyle of the month I am going to post a hair style for each of you that commented that I think will go with your hair type.
Very thick hair: Do you know how many people want thick hair? Own it! You can try braids or clip part of it up. My friend has very thick hair and these styles look great on her.
Dirty blond hair that's straight as a pin: Lucky! Straight hair looks so good that half the people at my school spend half an hour straightening theirs every morning. I always like it when people with straight hair clip part of it up. Also, have you considered getting side bangs? It sounds like they would look very good! Have you tried the Dangerously Straight shampoo and conditioner from Herbal Essences? It works really well.
Straight brown hair (two people said this so I'm adding two styles): Try a messy bun! You can also pair this with a cute headband! If your hair is thin, this can add volume. Also for thin hair: Try volumizing shampoo. I love the kind from herbal essences. Another style idea would be a fishtail braid but this only works for very thin hair. It looks adorable though!
Accessory of the month: HATS! Particularly knit hats look great over curly or wavy hair. I'm not really sure what it is but they have a way of making hair look glossier and fuller.
What not to wear: Shirt-on-shirts. I'm not talking about camis I'm talking about having a long sleeve shirt under a short sleeve shirt (ewwww.) Wearing this will make you look like your five so don't do it!
I promised you an alternative to a hot oil treatment that you could do at home (and I've tried it and it really works!) and here it is: Mix two part conola oil with one part hot water and apply to your hair as you would shampoo. Leave the mixture on for five minutes and then shampoo out. This can last anywhere from a couple days to two weeks, depending on your hair thickness.
Next month I'm gonna talk more about products for making your hair more shiny, glossy, and frizz-free. I'll recommend some more products for you to use and little tricks to help you achieve better hair. I'm also going to include some cute and comfy weekend wear (sweats, yoga pants, etc.)

Now for this posts question: Where do you shop? You can use a few examples and I'll find outfits from those shops and post them. Also, do any of you have a polyvore account? If you do, please post your username so I can add you (I just got one) and I'm think of making a group called "Trends to Try". What do you think? I'm also happy to take suggestions on how to make this blog better anytime (keep it nice constructive criticism of course)

May
Hi!!! School is almost out, and it's sooo hot here. I got a comment about what to do for school when you are only allowed to wear finger-tip length bottoms. My school does the same thing, and it's so annoying! One way the girls at my school have been able to wear shorts is wear them over leggings. It doesn't sound cute at all, but it can be!! You can wear this with a plain V-neck (Aero has some really cute ones).
Outfit of the Month: Try denim shorts (medium wash) with a loose white tank top (you can get that at Forever 21) with a brown belt over the shirt, on your waist (Forever 21). This look is casual and cool, and looks super-trendy. It also makes you look skinny because the belt cuts you at the middle
Hairstyle of the Month: WAVES! Waves look really casual and relaxed, and give a summery vibe. If you have wavy hair, your work is done. If you have straight hair, use a curling iron but only hold for half the time you would normally do. If you have curly hair, use a straightener until you have a nice wave or brush repeatedly.
Accessory of Month: BELTS! Brown belts are the cutest. You can wear a belt on your waist over a shirt, with jeans, with cargos, or with shorts. (To see how to pull off cargos, look in the latest Seventeen or look up Jennifer Aniston)
For the few weeks left of school (!!!) show off your summery style. Bright colors are in (duh) like pink, blue, and yellow. Orange, red, and any color that can make fire (other than yellow) isn't in. Pink is the IT color right now. It is best worn with blue, and any denim products. Rompers are also in.
Last month I asked you to comment your style and I was going to post outfits for two of the comments.
Trendy Chic: The outfit of the month is totally trendy chic. Shorts, a loose tank top, and a belt look super-cute and summery. Another cute outfit suggestion is a plain high waisted skirt (Forever 21) with a plain V-neck (Aeropostale) and gladiator sandals. It's important to keep the patterns on the skirt and the shirt simple, because you don't want to look like there's too much going on in your outfit.
Preppy: A denim skirt looks so cute with a pink cami and pink flip flops. Another outfit is light wash denim short shorts (Abercrombie) with a red and white striped tank top (also from Abercrombie.) This is super-cute and girly and you can wear it with red, white, or pink flip flops.
Flip flops are totally in, in lots of different colors!!!!
Next month: The swim post. Bathing suit, flip flops, sunglasses, cover-ups, totes. Also the hair post. Tons of cute styles, and an at-home alternative to a professional hot oil treatment that will make your hair super-glossy and shiny. I'm also asking for you to post your hair type (wavy, curly, straight) and thickness (thick, thin, medium) and color (blonde, brunette, redhead). For example, I'm a blonde, I've got wavy hair, and I've got medium-thick hair.

Sorry. Now I'm just going to post monthly because my schedule won't allow me to post weekly. (I'm really busy). This month is the SHOE post.
Outfit of the Month: One trend that you'll hear about later in the post is rolled-up jeans. Roll your jeans up to just before your knees. Wear a henley (you can get some great ones at Aeropostale) and wear gladiator sandals (which we'll be talking about later in the post.)
Second Outfit of the Month: (We'll be doing two outfits from now on) Wear skinny jeans with a V-neck (short sleeved) with flip flops. This is a casual look.
Accessory of the Month: SHOES!!!! I know that shoes aren't technically accessories, but this post we're talking about shoes a lot, so it fit in. Now that winter is over, you should wear a bigger variety of shoes. Try not to wear the same pair for more than three days in a row. The biggest spring shoe is the sandal, but later in the post I'll talk about different types of sandals and ways to wear them.
Hairstyle of the Month: Try low pigtails. If you have long hair, try curling your hair before you put it into pigtails. If you have shoulder-length hair (or slightly longer), straighten it. If you have hair that's shorter than shoulder-length it will be very hard to pull off low pigtails.
Okay now I'm going to talk about the ultimate spring sandal: gladiators. I just got a pair and every time I wear them I get a ton of compliments. There are a million ways to wear gladiators, so I'm just going to name 5. The first is, like we saw in the outfit of the month, with rolled-up jeans. The second is with skinny jeans. The third is with boyfriend jeans (Look in the latest issue of People Style Watch because they have a photo and tips on this look.) The fourth is a little bit harder to pull off but if you can get it it will look amazing. I saw a picture in People Style Watch of a girl who was wearing a black cami with a green skirt and a gold belt over the cami with gold gladiators and I totally fell in love with it. So the fourth look is a high-waisted skirt with gladiators. The fifth look is grey leggings with a long top and gladiators.
Other types of sandals you can wear:
- The kind that have jewels on them
- Ones with a wedge heel
- GLADIATORS
The next section is new ways to wear jeans. First of all, rolling up your jeans is completely cute for spring. Wear this with sandals or flip flops (or gladiators!!) The next way is to wear them with a cool belt. Wear this one with a shorter top so that the belt is showing. Also, just wearing them with a different shoe makes them look different. I'm assuming most of you have worn boots in the winter, so wearing jeans with sandals or flip-flops shows them in a whole new light.
Next month I want to try something new, but I need your help. Here's what you need to do: comment on this post and tell me your individual style. For example, my style is trendy-chic.

Spring Trends
So sorry I haven't posted, but I forgot my password :(
I had to have them email it to me just to log in!!
Anyway... I'll make up for it by giving you a rundown on spring trends!
Outfit of the Week: Try grey skinny jeans (you can get these at Delias) with a white sweater. (No, sweaters aren't out yet!)
Hairstyle of the Week: A twisted pony held up with a clip. Or... I found this really cool little device called a bandette comb that give you that style more easy and secure! And you can do it in seconds! (It's not kidding when it says that on the label!!) I bought mine at Claire's.
Accesory of the Week: Purses!! Preferably in brown. I just got this adorable purse at Claire's that's brown leather and it's soo cute. Don't use small purses; the bigger the better!!
What Not to Wear: Denim above the waist. I fully support denim pants and skirts but denim purses, dresses, tops, and jackets are OUT
Now for your upgrade on spring style. Pastel jeans will be in (note that that's pastel, not neon. Neon jeans are OUT)

- Clog sandels
- Motorcycle jackets in colors - Purple, green, pink etc.
- Rose-gold accesories
- Leggings
- Polka dots
The spring look is really girly and playful which is why we are seeing lots of color.
The look of the moment is: A scarf with an animal print, or a plaid scarf. Try it over a bright tank top
Now: I encourage you to find your own personal style. It could be: flirty-classic, trendy-chic, edgy-chic, sporty-chic etc. Find your personal style and stick with it through all of your outfits. This will help you be more stylish!!
