Omigosh so hard to believe it's already November! (Sorry I kind of abandoned this blog a while ago but today I was bored so I decided to check up on it. I'll start it up again now)
First off, thanks for all your comments. Much appreciated
Outfit of the Month: Try dark wash jeans (a fall classic. You can get these almost anywhere) with suede boots (these were a trend last year and are back again) and a solid henley with a cute tank top underneath
Try a solid V-neck (those never seem to go out of style) or a tank top and pair it with a high waisted girly skirt. Wear with leggings and short Uggs. This is fairly preppy (where I live at least) and super duper cute
Instead of doing a hairstyle of the month I am going to post a hair style for each of you that commented that I think will go with your hair type.
Very thick hair: Do you know how many people want thick hair? Own it! You can try braids or clip part of it up. My friend has very thick hair and these styles look great on her.
Dirty blond hair that's straight as a pin: Lucky! Straight hair looks so good that half the people at my school spend half an hour straightening theirs every morning. I always like it when people with straight hair clip part of it up. Also, have you considered getting side bangs? It sounds like they would look very good! Have you tried the Dangerously Straight shampoo and conditioner from Herbal Essences? It works really well.
Straight brown hair (two people said this so I'm adding two styles): Try a messy bun! You can also pair this with a cute headband! If your hair is thin, this can add volume. Also for thin hair: Try volumizing shampoo. I love the kind from herbal essences. Another style idea would be a fishtail braid but this only works for very thin hair. It looks adorable though!
Accessory of the month: HATS! Particularly knit hats look great over curly or wavy hair. I'm not really sure what it is but they have a way of making hair look glossier and fuller.
What not to wear: Shirt-on-shirts. I'm not talking about camis I'm talking about having a long sleeve shirt under a short sleeve shirt (ewwww.) Wearing this will make you look like your five so don't do it!
I promised you an alternative to a hot oil treatment that you could do at home (and I've tried it and it really works!) and here it is: Mix two part conola oil with one part hot water and apply to your hair as you would shampoo. Leave the mixture on for five minutes and then shampoo out. This can last anywhere from a couple days to two weeks, depending on your hair thickness.
Next month I'm gonna talk more about products for making your hair more shiny, glossy, and frizz-free. I'll recommend some more products for you to use and little tricks to help you achieve better hair. I'm also going to include some cute and comfy weekend wear (sweats, yoga pants, etc.)

November
Now for this posts question: Where do you shop? You can use a few examples and I'll find outfits from those shops and post them. Also, do any of you have a polyvore account? If you do, please post your username so I can add you (I just got one) and I'm think of making a group called "Trends to Try". What do you think? I'm also happy to take suggestions on how to make this blog better anytime (keep it nice constructive criticism of course)
